Flood damage, Queens Crescent, Glasgow
This four story former townhouse in Glasgow's West End had been previously converted and used as office space. In December 2009 the property was subject to extreme flood damage causing severe internal deteroration to all four floors. We were called in to undertake the extensive renovation of the property consisting of more than 1200m2 of plastering, Dry Lining, Backing Coats and Cornice repairs. The basement of the property also required damp proofing and timber treatment work outwith the flood damage.. This project also posed a challenge as the average ceiling height was 4m high with the individual room sizes far exceding that of a modern building.
