Ames Taping
Unlike plastering, Ames Taping only covers the joints and screwholes (if any) on the new plaster board, not the whole area as in plastering. This is done in stages from applying the tape, covering the tape with layers of joint compound and sanding once dry. A primer coat should then be applied prior to decoration.
